The Patient Journey

Once enrolled, Takeda Patient Support will support you on your personalized treatment journey by helping you access your medication, educating you about your medication, and providing you with ongoing support.

Step 1: Enrolment

The enrolment form will be completed by your physician and sent to Takeda Patient Support. You can choose your preferred method of contact and your physician can specify any other needs on your enrolment form.
Step 2: Takeda Patient Support Contact

Your Care Manager will contact you within one business day to discuss our program services.
Step 3: Reimbursement Navigation (if applicable)

Takeda Patient Support will help you navigate insurance coverage and access reimbursement for your medication and supplies, where applicable.
Step 4: Obtaining Medication

Takeda Patient Support will coordinate medication availability and schedule your treatment or provide necessary supplies, depending on your type of treatment.
Step 5: Training and Education

Takeda Patient Support will provide you education, training and support. Your appointments will be scheduled depending on the route of administration and consultation with your physician.
Step 6: Follow-up and Ongoing Support

Your Care Manager is available to help you every step of the way and answer any questions you may have. Translation services are available in over 180 languages.
Step 7: Connecting Your Healthcare Team to You

To ensure consistent, personalized support, your healthcare team will be updated on each step of your treatment journey.
